we had an exco mtg today . & this is decided . (:

Exco Retreat .
Date : 13th December
Time : 0845 hrs @ OCBC
Venue : Sentosa / Mdm Lee's Place
Remarks : Please bring extra clothes, food! & MONEY! (:

Sec One Registration
This are the following duties :

4 Prefects per class ,

out of this 4 , 1 is to assist the Form Teacher . 1 is to Help to brief the parents on the forms issued, 1 is to give out queue numbers, 1 is to help to ensure the traffic .

3 prefects at the registration booth
6 prefects at the bookshop

Prefects are to get hold of the booklists & roughly know what books the sec ones are supposed to get . Assist the parents if needed.

5 prefects at the uniform room(AVA Annex)

Prefects to check with the stall vendor about the sizes first . & assist the parents if needed.

3 prefects at the staircase

to usher the parents

2 prefects at the gate

to greet the parents.

1 prefect at the carporch.
2 prefects at the hall staircase to usher.
4 prefects to be assigned to mrs hee. ( these prefects are not to be touched AT ALL)

Time to report : 7am
Attire : School Uniform with Tie. ( for normal prefects)
Blazer & Court Shoes for Exco.

Sec One Orientation

haha, to be truthful, i didnt really2 listen. haha. the details will be up soon . but from alex, this is what ive got. :D

it will maybe be a 3 day orientation. 1st 2 days will be games and the 3rd day they might invite someone to give a talk. Every activity must have a motive.Then comes a magic class, and the magic street set thingy ..
prefects will follow classes whereever they go.
activites carried out will link to the school value.

thats all folks !

there will be a Exco Mtg on the 18th Dec, 12.30pm.

there will be a PREFECTS Mtg on the 20th Dec, 12.30pm . (: your leaders will call you up. :D

HAHAs, okay. to cut a long story short. As i've said, we should lead with love. (: are you leading with love ? we shall find out soon. the upcoming project is the Secondary One Registration. will you be leading as a North View Prefect ? or will you be standing at the corner hiding when we lead ? (: go figure.

Regarding:

Attention : Exco Members .

okay , i'll be calling up a meeting soon . but not sure when . mayhaps the 2nd week of december , please avail yourselves . & please pass the message around . thank you . & wanyi will not be around due to her OBS , & i need all of your help in this area . Please PLEASE PLEASE inform the exco people regarding this meeting & please try to come up with some icebreakers for Orientation itself . i believe wanyi has done the orientation programme , but we still nd to sit down & review it, isnt it ? (: more updates will be updated soon . Please come back for more details . (: Thanks .

& Mr Leong , can i propose this idea ? its okay if it cannot be done . haha . i've been spending this week at Fajar Secondary School . I'm there to facilitate their magic class, as part of their Student Leader Camp . During the camp, the main emphasis is on Community Service. & the things they do during the camp is Balloon Sculpting & Street Magic. and at the end of the 3 days , they will be expected to perform at Childcare Centres as part of the Community Involvement Programme . & i think this is a very good exposure for them . so, im wondering if we cld do something similar to this ? or we can even propose better ideas. (: i hope it can be carried out ,

to ALL prefects :

Leaders needs to be able to not only lead, but Lead in LOVE . simply because .
LOVE means, to Lead, Organize , Voice and Engage.

to Lead with Love, is a good way to even Organize stuffs, and as leaders, we must Voice out the differences , and lastly to Engage our hearts in doing something . As leaders/prefects, we must not only lead & lead & lead, we cannot spend the 4/5 years in NVPB, just simply by leading here & leading there, leading this & leading that . nothing will be accomplished! we must lead with the correct mindset , the correct emotions . & lastly, the least that we can do ,, is to lead with LOVE . (: i hope to see more & more prefects leading with LOVE .

OHHHKAYYY . now we've got to start preparing for Secondary One Registration which is on the 22nd December . (: for the time being , while wanyi is planning everything along with her heads .why dont we think of some icebreakers/games to entertain the kids during the orientation ?
