i really really hope you guys enjoy yourself there :D
DAY ONE
prefects started off by completing the amazing race with determination and peserverance between group members.
feedbacks of the race ;
1. must have many different stations.
2. distance must not be too far away. example from yishun town garden to yishun park.
secONEs, you've done a good job during the rehearsal .
you guys can follow instructions very well(:
we are so proud of you :D KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK(:
after which it was the campfire and nightwalk. nightwalk was almost a success but the prefects enjoy it. alex, dun be discouraged that your plan is not successful(:
the seniors had a talk with mr leong.
secTWOs and THREEs prefects ;
bear this in mind. you guys have to take your own initiative to do certain things. you guys cannot just sit there and wait for instructions given by me/benjamin.
you guys cannot always be too dependant on us. remember the talk given by mr leong today {take actions/ initiative} which the seniors are all lack off. do change your attitude now.

i would like to thank our EX-DEPUTY HEAD, Zulfadhli for coming down to help us make the prefects camp a success and the prefects love the cheers. :DD
DAY TWO
i guess all the prefects enjoyed the morning exercise.
we had our talk by mdm lee in the CME room and a talk by mr leong is also in the CME room.
secTWO and THREE prefects;
remember what i say. and i do not want this to happen again((: although you guys apologised to mr leong but make sure there will not be another time that it will happen again.
the investiture rehearsal went well smoothly too.

Time: 0830hrs - 1200hrs
Venue: hall
things to bring: $5 for the prefects T-Shirt.
*attendance is compulsory !
i hope ALL of you have enjoyed the 2days1night prefects camp.
i would also like to thank ALL the prefects for being very cooperative with me as today im not feeling very well.
we hoped to have more feedbacks so that we could do some changes for next year's camp :D

The camp just concluded. Thank you everybody who made this camp a success. Now just to put everything in place...
I've the list of prefects volunteering (remember sacrificing? to lead is to serve? This is what we want as leaders) themselves for the anti drug abuse campaigns on 23rd June and 4th July respectively.

23rd June (Sat) - Stationing yourself along Orchard Rd

Congratulations to them. I hope that all of you will give your utmost cooperation to them and move North View PB to another level.

And on behalf of Mdm Lee and all prefects in North View, I'd like to wish all graduating prefects taking their 'O' Mother Tongue paper on Monday all the very best.

0810 - 0820am - amazing race briefing

1330 - 1430pm - preparation for campfire
1430 - 1830pm - prefects investiture rehearsal (with tea break in between)

Hey all, please be informed that the consent forms are already given out. Please return back to the respective people. for Secondary 2's , to Fitri(2E1). Secondary One's,(erh, I'll check it out). HAHAS. Nevertheless, let's wish these people luck for they are being nominated for the respective appointments.

Regarding:

Hello living things. The midyear examinations has come to an end. & the plannings for prefects camp & prefects investiture, must go on! (: So check back again for more details.

fyi, minutes of last exco mtg(sorry for this inefficiency:D).

Prefects Investiture

1. Gifts might be changed, due to the lack of time to make it.
· Ideas for Gifts( simple cardboard with hearts as the letterings)
· Budget : $5/school

2. Invitation Cards
· To be sent out by early may.

3. Music Accompaniment
· Music either by Maksim or Richard Clayderman
· Music to be reviewed by Wanyi on Monday.
· Music to accompany walking in/out to be decided once again.

4. Performance
· 2 Performances to be done
· Temporarily, it’s a Band formed by prefects comprising of Jolene, Ernest & Junjun)
· A dance choreographer to choreograph the prefects dance as soon as possible.
· Emcees to be Ernest & Heizeline

5. Tiepins or Collar pins ?
· Prefably, Tie pins for ALL prefects
· Special Custom made badges for exco members to be pinned above the name tag in the school uniform, with the label Executive Committee.

Speech Day

1. Duties
· To be confirmed again by Wanyi, due to short of manpower.
· Red Blazers to be worn by prefects who are more prominent on Speech Day , itself.(temporary)

Annual Prefects Camp

1. Nightwalk
· To be held in Rifle Range
· Route IC : Alex , to be assisted by Benjamin.

2. Sentry Duty
· Purpose is to sweep the school because the school is open to students in the day.
· Wanyi to do up the duty list asap.

3. Camp Booklet
· To comprise of Campfire songs
· Agenda for day 1 and 2
· Reflections ?

4. Campfire Songs
· To be compiled and given to Sheena, as soon as possible.

5. Campfire Preparation

· Items needed : sand, firewood, kerosene.

5.1 Collection of Firewood
· Venue: Yishun Park
· Date : 23rd April/ 30th April / After exams (after much consideration, 30th April is the best date)
· Initiated by: Benjamin
· Groundsheets ? : NPCC / NCC ?
Firewood are not to be hollow, to be full of insects and must NOT be damp.
